La Joubertie Gîte (2 bedrooms, Self-Catering)

La Joubertie Gîte accommodation is in the large Perigordine barn, sympathetically renovated to retain many of the original features but with a high standard of fixtures, fittings and decor expected in modern holiday accommodation.

A truely delightful gîte, ideal for two couples or a family with two children.

Your accommodation is separate from our house, which gives you total privacy but with the peace of mind of knowing that we are around to help if you have any problems or need some additional information.

Alternatively, we can offer you the opportunity to book the whole complex which will accommodate up to 8 people. The 2 gîtes and Chambre Rose would give you 4 double (or twin) bedrooms all with ensuite facilities.

The choice is yours!

Rest assured though, if you book either of the gîtes or Chambre Rose as separate parties, you need not worry about noise - most of the walls are made of stone 2 feet thick and are therefore soundproofed!!

La Joubertie Gîte comfortably sleeps 4 people with spacious accommodation consisting of a lounge, kitchen and two bedrooms, both with luxury en suite facilities.

The Lounge

The lounge is furnished with a comfortable sofa, dining table and chairs, full size colour TV (French satellite) and a DVD/ CD player. We have a small collection of DVDs but you may want to bring some of your own favourites. There is also a selection of books and magazines (in English).

The back door of the lounge leads to a large, paved patio area complete with garden table and chairs and direct access to the pool.

The Kitchen

The small but beautifully fitted kitchen is equipped with a fridge, gas hob, combination microwave with convection oven and grill. Also included are the usual crockery, cutlery and pots & pans. Cleaning materials, washing up liquid and tea towels are included in the price.

The Blue Bedroom

This double bedroom has an en suite shower room comprising of hand basin, WC and a luxury shower.

The Red Bedroom

This twin bedded bedroom (which can be made into a double if required) has an en suite shower room comprising of hand basin, WC and a luxury shower.

Both bedrooms have radio alarm clocks and hairdryers.
Duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels (including pool towels) are provided in the price.

Additional Facilities

• A small BBQ is provided on the gîte patio.
• A large BBQ pit is available for larger groups, by arrangement.
• A baby cot is available on request at no charge.
• Boules, badminton and tennis rackets are available at no charge.
• Sun loungers, cushions, garden tables and chairs plus parasols are provided on the pool-side.
• Beach towels for use by the pool are provided.
• A washing machine is available for occasional use at no charge.
• Ironing board and iron provided.
• Each room has a clothes drier and pegs.
